As someone said above, he probably got quite friendly with some Prem/Champ managers at his course, and I have no doubt that some of those managers hold our Tilly in high esteem for what he has achieved over the last two seasons at a relatively young manager's age and on a shoestring budget. I'm sure some of them would be glad to help him out by sending a player or two on loan.

Yeah I wasnt having a pop at Tilly, far from it. I was basically saying that I cant believe those on here that reckon Tilly isnt trying hard to get loan players in. And perhaps a lack of contacts was a possible cause. If i'm wrong then fairplay but it does make you wonder what is that means Col Ewe is a more attractive proposition other than their league position!
