Suspect there might be hoops we need to jump through to avoid things like transfer embargoes...I suspect many of the staff are not on huge salaries.
Surely everyone should be paid something rather than paying the players first.
I agree. I brought this up when up-front payment only for ST's was first pitched, but a lot of people disagreed that it would ever be an issue.Surely that is just kicking the can down the road...
Drop in the ocean, i'm afraid !Another thousand fans supporting the club and buying season tickets might help the summer cash flow situation?
Yes it is, what is your suggestion?Surely that is just kicking the can down the road...
...we need Ron to sell the club (and the assets he holds) to someone that has the resources to take this club foward.Yes it is, what is your suggestion?
We need FF to get going, we need a good start to the season to get turnstiles ringing, we need a money spinning cup run, we need to sell on a player for big money, we need a multi millionaire to invest BIG, we need so much but realistic expectations?
A few thousand ST sales WILL generate a few hundred thousand in cash.
Or what?
...we need Ron to sell the club (and the assets he holds) to someone that has the resources to take this club foward.
What a silly post. What use would that be? No, what he has done is offer staff shares in the club in lieu of payment. All is well.Has Ron offered staff a chance to buy a second hand bike so that they can get to work, or rounding them up in a Bentley and kindly dropping them off at the end of the day at a food bank?
You gotta look after your staff after all
I hope he is not diluting my stake in the club - that's my pension. What a silly post. What use would that be? No, what he has done is offer staff shares in the club in lieu of payment. All is well.
You don't run the risk of an embargo when not paying non-playing staff though, right?I suspect many of the staff are not on huge salaries.
Surely everyone should be paid something rather than paying the players first.
Don't worry... there's plenty to go round.I hope he is not diluting my stake in the club - that's my pension.

I have no idea. I don't deal in the professional footballing circles. But then, who knew who was interested in buying Chelsea until it was announced that it was up for sale.Who do you suggest?
Can they eat them? What a silly post. What use would that be? No, what he has done is offer staff shares in the club in lieu of payment. All is well.
Totally agree.**** the embargo - people have rent, mortgages, bills and food to pay for.
