SOL coaches to Tranmere

We used to have an away travel forum, but it was not used in 6 months..

I know the Away forum wasn't used,

Everyone posts individual posts now which are buried in a day or so, could the away forum be opened again and the travel posts transferred into it when they had gone cold? Would that be possible?

I will have words with the others Sir ...

For those of you who live in the wilds of East Anglia, we still have 2 seats spare on the Big Black Shrimpermobile (just a black MPV really) for Tranmere and Carlisle leaving from Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. PM me if you're interested.

Out of interest, do supporters on SOL coaches get included in the away travel table as well - never sure exactly how that works?

I was the one who started the away league tables when I was doing the travel for the Trust, they only include the miles travelled on Trust coaches. It all started as a bit of fun but then made it easy way to reward the top/regular travellers at the end of the season with travel awards in the shape of framed pictures or clocks. The top 30 travellers also got four free/discounted trips on the coach throughout the season as a way of rewarding their dedication, but for some reason this has been cut down to three free/discounted trips this year - maybe the Trust can justify the reason for this cutback.

Chris FFS give it a rest.

Or maybe e-mail them direct other then calling out for questions on a public forum? or ask in the trust forum section?

I would like to wish Wino and the family all the very best as he recovers from appendicitis and a subsequent infection. I'm sure everyone else on here carries the same sentiments and recognises the tireless work he's done, for his mates and fellow supporters, not just this season but for many others too.

Get well soon, Paul, we have the diabled seat at Wembley all primed for you mate, complete with intravenous Buckfast Tonic Wine drip.
