That's something I was wondering during the game. Time and again Gower went on a run only to stop and turn inside to get the ball on his favoured right foot, by which time Hull had got men back into defensive positions and the initial threat had been lost.[b said:Quote[/b] (The Big Shrimp @ Nov. 01 2006,20:57)]& Gower should play on the right wing where he won't have to cut back inside because he's not left footed!!
Am I missing something here? If so would someone care to explain to me the merits of playing an 80% right footed player out wide on the left.
Gower right and JCR left would seem to make more sense to me...then again, what do I know
