Question So...who's going to Carlisle

Don’t make the mistake of under estimating the Supporters of Southend United they are made of sterner stuff than the players. Yes the last couple of results will have put some off, but most that go will have planned this trip for some time, and will not be put off by the events of a couple of days.

We are NOT glory supporters, we except the fact that it isn’t all going to go our way, but will turn up regardless. That is what makes this club special.

I for one WILL be at Carlisle.

I'd love to go, but I can neither afford it, nor justify the expense and the time involved to my family. Think I said earlier, wish everyone well that is making the trip, and it will be a much better atmosphere because there won't be so many of the idiot ones prepared to make the trip so hopefully the team play better as a result.

I agree with some of the other posts that have said small away crowd may mean a stonking performance. I'll never forget Hartlepool away in teh snow a couple of years back.

The ridiculous pressure our fans seem to have put the players under on this board alone means that, if I was a player, I'd be looking forward to playing a game where a (relatively) small number of fans will actually be there, to allow me to concentrate on my own game without being slagged off. The players may well find it a blessed relief to not have us watching them in great numbers.

I'm going.

Last night and Walsall are done, over with, in the past. We can't reflect, we have to look forward. Fact of the matter is, man for man, we have a good team here and I have no doubt that things will come together in the end.

Plus, I want to see Dougie Freedman make his debut, as I think he will have a very positive effect.

wat a james blunt that bloke really was thought he was the big man someone stood up to him and he ran off then comes back when he knew damn well that he had gone ,wheres your silly mate gone can i have his email address ,what a tart

and i ended up at billericay police station with bonsey until early hours of the morning... did tarnish a good day out but not by much!

I don't give a **** what last night's or last Saturday's results were. The team need our support and I'll be going to give it (along with another 2 or 3 like-minded souls).

Please do me a favour though, only make the trip if you're going to support the team. I really don't fancy going all that way to hear morons getting on their own players' and management's backs.

Up the Blues.

3 of us going and speaking of Rangers, my mate knows a few Rangers fans who live near Carlisle so we are meeting them. Dunno if they are going to the footy with us or not though.
