Think it would be safe to say that he had fallen out of the 'pecking order' before Barnard's return. If Phil Brown wants to bring in a defender, who would that be to replace, or act as back up to?

I'm guessing as back-up. Only 3 central defenders in Prosser, Phillips and Thompson so would make sense to bring someone in.

So, by what the Echo says, we are trying to get O'Neill in till the end of the season........good move. In addition to this we are waiting on the results which will show the extent of White's injury and on that news will decide whether to bring in another defender.

I think Kiernan is out of the question now as Brentford want to take him on loan once Wigan have enough defenders fit to let him go

Read on Echo website that when Grays played Bury he was very angry over something a Bury player said to him and overturned some tables and smashed a glass and was hanging around the tunnel after the game in a aggressive manner.

Sounds like he wasn't pleased with it. Also said that Luke Chambers is back with us now, although he may have gone back since then.
