Something I don't think anyone has picked up on. I believe that on two occasions last night the commentators referred to the likelihood of us having Tomlin back for the second game. Uninformed claptrap............or do they know something we don't???? Sadly, I reckon it's the former.

I've got to say I normally despise the Sky coverage of our games on the rare occasions we're televised. But from watching the majority of those highlights and being at the game myself last night, I thought they were better than normal.

Garry Birtles and the main commentator have had a tendancy in the past to flatter the opposition against us and talk them up all game which really annoyed me against Crewe and Crawley last season. However I thought it was pretty fair last night. Probably because other than the league status we're pretty similar sized clubs.

That said I saw that last night was Orient's record crowd for the season which was a similar size to how many were at Roots Hall for a league game on Saturday which again surprised me.

Birtles just favours northern clubs over southern per se. Come the final, whether it be us or the O's he will be licking the dibbers of the Crewe players. How that explains Crawley I don't know other than that he probably loves Evans.
