Sorry Naps you'll have to explain who JD is -I don't watch a lot of Brit TV.:unsure:

I'm sure Naps will explain better than wot I can --- but Jack is/was a character in 'Corrie.' He was a bit of an old-fashioned working-class Manc who was either behind or by the bar in 'The Rovers' and who would croon a bit every now and then. So yeah, just like you! :nope:

Bear with me on this one, good people of the 'Zone. Now a strange idea hit me today and I can't get it out of my head. I had a thought about the characters that we 'meet' here on SZ having a TV character who they might remind you of. Obviously, if you've met a Zoner in real life, it can skew the association somewhat. But here's a few little associations I've had, based on an image I've developed of a Zoner somehow, either through some notoriety they've gained via their posts or by their 'role' on the 'Zone. It's meant to be a bit of fun and not damning of the individuals concerned, so here goes ...

I'll start with the biggest of the big fish ... McNasty = Tony Soprano
South Bank Hank = Brains (from 'Thunderbirds')
Jack SUFC = Joe (3) 90
Callan = Callan
MK Shrimper = Wolfie (from 'Citizen Smith')
Osymandus = Kwai Chang Cain (from 'Kung Fu')

OK, over to you --- keep it clean please. ;)

If I am the Godfather you may kiss my ring.

Yeah,I googled him yesterday.Haven't a clue who the guy is.:)
My lack of knowledge about UK soaps is limitless, as it is with their US counterparts.Not too good on Spanish/Catalan ones either.Must be a pattern there.:unsure:
