Looks like with the introduction of little Jack Payne we will be trying to go down the middle rather than out wide whilst tucking in and being hard to beat. First goal is going to be crucial in this game. Surprised not to see Hurst starting .

I'd have thought 3 in midfield with Payne in front. Having one or two of the midfield 3 sit to let the full-backs get forward.

WTF is a 4-5-2?

Anyway it's clearly listed as a 4-4-2. The question should be whether it's a diamond (in which case surprising no Deegan anchoring it) or a flat, narrow one with Payne on the left.

Plenty of experience in the line up and a solid bench. We have both Shaq and Weston to.come on if we need to chase as well as deegan if we need to hold a lead.
