Red Rep King!
Should we appeal the Mohsni sending off in order to free him up for Wednesday and risk losing him for longer than the following 3 games?

There's no risk, is there? Cresswell will be back after the Orient game and we've done without Mohsni all season so if we have to do without him for an additional game or two then it's no real loss.

might aswell . If we appeal he would be available to play on wednesday . We are desperate + for 26 minutes he was brilliant !!! The appeal will 100% certainly get turned down + probably another game added for a frivolous appeal. Then we can fine him for the 4 matches he will miss. :winking: by which time Creswell + the others will be back anyway

No way.

Never want to see him in a Southend shirt again. I don't care how short we are with players bringing this idiot back was a stupid idea. We all know what he's like and was a player who has only played a few games since May really going to set the world alight. Tear up his contract and send him back across the channel!

Yes. I dont care if he gets a 30 game ban as personally the less of of him I see the better.

However we need players for the JPT and if we can get him in the team by appealing we should. Once that game is gone we dont need him and he can "do one".

It's the frivolous element that worries me. Presumably, they could increase the ban by as many games as they wish, and I wonder if they could fine us, too (for taking the p**s). Having said that, it would have to be a hefty fine to wipe out the profit from Wembley so...appeal.

Most of the posters I can clearly see Pro-Mohsni or Anti-Mohsni - you ?? Not sure...........................

I want to get to W****** so he can get a chance to hold up the trophy and bathe in the adoration of 20,000 fans that he so richly deserves. When Fossetts opens build a statue at the gates as we come in. Best Southend United player evs, and I'm like so no joking.

Yes definitely, worth it, just to stop Orient thinking they have it in the bag.
He was our best player by a country mile before the sending off, and for that reason its a Yes from me.

Yeah appeal. The red card will not likely be overturned. It was issued for Serious Foul Play. Which I suppose, there is some grounds for argument. As to me, Serious Foul play is some what ambiguous.

No....nothing to do with wanting him to play on Weds or not, just that if I was the FA I would punish the club with whatever I could for blatantly taking the **** if they appealled against what is a clear clear red card offence.

Doesnt matter if they increase it, Cresswell will be back then. We only need him for the one game.

I cant stand the thought of him in a Southend shirt, but its one game which may get us to Wemley so Id appeal.

Dont appeal, we cant afford to take the chance of having to play 60 odd minutes with only 10 men. Orient will know they only have to wind him up and he'll get himself sent off.

What is his ban? is it 1 game or 3?

I'm a little confused to the ruling of a straight red card and the actual offence the punishment warrants.

I know 'violent conduct' is 3 games but that's not what I'd deem Bilel's challenge, Cresswell's was.

Can someone clear this up?
