Your source being the Evening Echo which anyone can buy and read? :winking:
No, it's someone high up at Spurs. I didn't know it was in today's echo.

Yes indeed which was clearly the reason for behind closed doors so PB could look at some of their youngsters and maybe they were looking at Bentley. Maybe those who were moaning about a missed opportunity to get a big crowd will understand that. Would much rather trust PB's judgement on these matters.Today's Echo says he impressed in the behind closed doors friendly we had with Spurs.
Wallop
“There was some interest from other clubs, but I know Southend are one of the biggest in this division so it was an easy decision for me to come here on loan.”
We've signed a player called "Mads" and one called "Shaq" - must be a dream day for headline writers (Chris Phillips)

O'Neal was featured alongside Michael Jackson as a guest rapper on "2 Bad", a song from Jackson's 1995 album HIStory. O'Neal was also featured in Aaron Carter's 2001 hit single "That's How I Beat Shaq". Shaq also appears on the music video for the release.[SUP][157][/SUP]
Shaquille O'Neal conducted the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Boston Symphony Hall on December 20, 2010.
Worst thing about this signing is he will no doubt get Jealous Stokes coming onto this thread to bore us all with how **** he is.
True, but we'll have to wait for the twilight hours for his/her ?? pearls of wisdom.....can't wait
This break clause thing could be a bit of a red herring to be honest. All season long loans have a built in break clause after the first half of the season anyway. Unless there are other break clauses in there, it's nothing to be worrying about.
Jealous? :hilarious:
Incorrect on the other point as well. He's not s***, he's very good. He wasn't ready for League One last season, and he's extremely raw, but I think he'll be excellent in League Two this year. He's short, extremely quick, good upper body strength, good ball control. He'll create his own chances and is a good finisher. Works extremely hard as well. Didn't see much of a footballing brain on him (unlike Loza, for example), but the kid is extremely talented and I think he'll get better as the season goes on as he adjusts to regular League football. Good signing.
One of my few trips to RH last season was the unremarkable win against Torquay. I remember Shaq being the only player for them who really gave us anything to worry about. I just assumed he was one of their regulars at the time. Could prove a very useful aquisition. Hope he shines.
