Say you had to lose a sense - which one could you happily lose and why?

Imagine not seeing your loved ones, not hearing any Bach, not smelling frying bacon, not being able to feel cold/hot/textures, or tasting a gorgeous home-made roast.

But which one could you live without?

Probably hearing. So i'll still be able to see, touch and taste things.

I've gone for smell, as I have practically no sense of smell anyway after getting lumped on the nose outside Tots in an argument over taxis about 20 years ago.

The smell of freshly cut grass? Perfume on a lady? Chips / bacon / flowers.... list is endless Josh!
1) I get terrible hayfever so I try to avoid freshly cut grass at all costs
2) In Laindon perfume is over used to the point that it could choke you
3) Food, In my house the smell is more likely to be burning
4) Again hayfever and I don't usually smell flowers

I have gone for taste....

With my ex Mrs DtS this might well have been a plus point.

I don't think I would "happily " want to lose any,but if it had to be one ....Smell:fart:

Wouldn't it be great if you had a button so you could switch these on and off as required?

Dead Badger up your Flue? - switch off smell and you can happily get in there to remove it.

absolutely, that would've helped when I had to unblock our drain a while back...jeez that was horrid.

Wiggy wiggling in front of you, dressed in her finest seethrough Primark underwear with that burning look of desire in her eyes.....

Switch 'em all off, she might think you're dead :D
