Schools you attended

Some random school in France till 95
Thorpe Junior School (Greenways) 95-98
Cecil Jones High School 98-03
South East Essex College 03-06
Uni of Gloucestershire 06-Present

And Fred SEEVIC is shocking.
SEEVIC is class :D Best days of my life. Walk into maths, have a chat with John (the teacher). Sit down, wait for him to pull out one of his gags without realising it. Then off to play football with a bit of frisbee, then a lesson or two and come home.

Easy life :D

Sacred Heart Primary 1984-1990
St Thomas More for Boys 1990-1995
SEEVIC 1995-1997
University of Southampton 1998-2001
Loving the SEEVIC, ARS.

I see there is a few mentions for Heycroft Primary, there is / was (??) a music teacher there called Mrs Walker (married to the Eastwood counciller) ... i used to go out with her daughter back in the late 80s / early 90s :)

Feeling even older than usual looking at some of the dates on here. Mine are:

Blenheim Infants & Juniors 1968-1974
Westcliff High for Boys 1974-1981
Southampton Uni 1981-1984

Alan Hull was at Blenheim same time as me - he was in Southend's first team squad in early 80s but never played for us though he did later go on to play for Orient and manage Great Wakering Rovers

Pitsea Infant and Junior School - 1987 to 1993
Westcliff High for Boys inc 6th Form - 1993 to 2000

Boreham County Primary School
Anglo European School (Ingatestone)
Chelmsford College (Moulsham Street)

She would have been my teacher at the time (1988/89). No wonder she was always so stressed ;)

Hmm... can't think what you mean

Funnily enough one of my mates knew my ex-girlfriends sister, and about 2 or 3 years after we split up they were talking about old times, my name cropped up and the exs sister said me and her had got on too well (if you catch my drift ;) ) ... it was the first time (and last :( ) that i'd been credited with a 'result' that i'd never achieved :thump:

I always hoped i'd bump into the sister again, so i could complete the act... i mean i'm in credit after all :D :D

Both my children went to Heycroft and they were both there when Mrs walker retired (ill health if I remember correctly) I think that was in 1993/4. her husband is still a councillor and they still live in eastwood. Looking through the posts Eastwood seems to be a popular place.

Chalkwell Hall Infant and Junior School
Southend High School for Boys (Athens - the ONLY house worth being in!)
Barking College of Technology
Released into the real world c.1985 ...

Thorpe Greenways Infants & Juniors
Southend High for Boys (Sparta - the best of the best of the best :p )
Loughborough College (Engineering)

Blimey I going to feel right old now and I have had to dig into the grey matter of my brain. Infant/primary schools- Prince Ave (from 1965)
Bournmouthpark
Temple Sutton
Porters Grange
Hamstel Road
Secondary - Dowsett for girls -(hated that place and was glad
I got expelled)
Cecil Jones
Fitzwimarc
oh and some small time in an established insitution of a compulsory nature

No one went onto further education then unless you went to a grammer school. Unfortuntely it was off to work at 16.
Regretted wasting my time at school.

I always got the impression that things weren't quite right even before we split up.. around '91 i think... but it was never discussed, certainly not in front of me anyway (thank god... i really don't like to mix with other halfs familys more than i have to !!!)
