Scannell - what do you reckon?

Makes Abject Sense

The step up from lower league will take time - i say use him as a sub for the rest of the season. A full pre-season with us will improve his fitness and he will be a good player for us next season.

Definitely one to take a closer look at in less pressured games, or use his pace off the bench, when gambles may need to be taken.

Guessing ?

With Scannell, I'm of the opinion that if he hadn't have got sent off at Millwall for that rather reckless challenge, he would be featuring a bit more now. I think Tilly's letting him get a bit more match awareness under his belt, which is why he appears to have dropped down the pecking order.

This may or not be true, but the tackle you refer to appeared to me to be 50-50 when both players went in as hard as each another, yet as just off the bench, the referee made an over harsh example of Scannell on the night IMO.

At least he showed the full out commitment to tackle, compared with one other who is "looking after himself".

Tilly & Brush have more "nonse" I think than we may give them credit for.

WTF???

Thanks for the corrective. Yes Nous, as well as nonse !

It was early am and the brain had not kicked into true life - if it ever will.

However check out Blue Voice, new thread, somethings stirring upstairs !!

2 games in 4 days? I would bench Black and give either Scannell or Grant a start on the right, if we are drawing with Swindon with 25 mins left, I would throw Black on, he might put up a better performace to prove a point to Tilly.

Same here.

Black needs a boot up the b*m imho
