potential is the right word. he could be such a good player but has a huge amount to learn, thought he would be a big part of tillys plans this season but for what ever reason he hasn't taken the chance plus with injuries he hasn't had the best of times, good luck to him whilst he's on loan.

Hopefully this will give him the confidence that he needs to play in the Football League, he was outstanding in pre season. He's got the potential to be a good winger but something just dosent seem right, maybe he could do with losing a few pounds. Good Luck Damian, probably score his first professional goal for Brentford though.

However, I'm of the opinion that if players aren't a hit when they first arrive (for us anyway), then they never will be. I'm trying hard to think of any players who have flopped initially but then gone on to be an irreplacable cog in the team.

This is a good move by the club. Scannell should hopefully get some games under his belt at Brentford and in his favoured position. By the time he returns, Milsom and Stanislas will probably be heading back to their parent clubs and, with improved match fitness, Scannell should be in a better position to make an impression with us.
