Breaking News Scannell loaned to Brentford

probably good for Scanners to get a couple of games. Also says that the loan deadline is today, so we may have some news this afternoon.

His gone. Its official, recieved the SMS.

Good luck Scannell. He seems like the type of player who needs to get a run of games to get the best out of him.

I hope he does well and comes back to be given a chance! In all likelihood he will be sold like everyone else we loan out...

Good luck Scannell!!!

Good luck to him I think he has bags of potential and he is still young so lets hope this does him justice.

thank god for that! cant see him ever being a regular first teamer down here! def only ever gonna be worth 5k shame he aint like his brother/cousin whatever he is at palace!

potential is the right word. he could be such a good player but has a huge amount to learn, thought he would be a big part of tillys plans this season but for what ever reason he hasn't taken the chance plus with injuries he hasn't had the best of times, good luck to him whilst he's on loan.

Bit of a suprise that, what with being short on bodies for the FA Cup at the weekend. A run in Brentford's team could do him the world of good though.

Could this indicate Tilly is close to "twisting the arm" of the premiership club that it says about in the echo?

Good Luck Scans

Hopefully this will give him the confidence that he needs to play in the Football League, he was outstanding in pre season. He's got the potential to be a good winger but something just dosent seem right, maybe he could do with losing a few pounds. Good Luck Damian, probably score his first professional goal for Brentford though.

Probably do him the world of good. He clearly isn't quite ready and hasn't reached his full potential. However, I'm of the opinion that if players aren't a hit when they first arrive (for us anyway), then they never will be. I'm trying hard to think of any players who have flopped initially but then gone on to be an irreplacable cog in the team.

This is a good move by the club. Scannell should hopefully get some games under his belt at Brentford and in his favoured position. By the time he returns, Milsom and Stanislas will probably be heading back to their parent clubs and, with improved match fitness, Scannell should be in a better position to make an impression with us.

Don't think you can class Scannell (please spell his name right people!!) a flop after so few matches
