It's rare you sign a player who's dropping down the leagues and hear nothing but praise from the team he's leaving.
Sounds like a good player and a hard worker, should fit in. Heard someone say he's like a lower league Milner, very versatile.

I can't believe people don't remember him from Notts' quality side that got promoted.
He's a top player for this level. As other posters have said, plays through the lines well and links everything together. That Notts side were the best I've seen since we've been in this division and he certainly played that type of football well.
Why on earth have people jumped on stats about goals? Where does it say he is a striker?!
People have moaned chronically about no rumours, we then actually make a signing out of nowhere, who has been promoted from this league with 100 odd points and was also playing for a top side in league 2 last season and finished in the playoffs, and people still moan! This place is unbelievable at times

Feels a bit surreal to be honest. On a day all of this familiar news is coming out of Morecambe, we’re signing a player from the league above who says our ambition and backing drew him to us. It’s all a bit of a sliding doors moment that it’s not the other way round and we’re the club under a transfer ban and not paying players.
