I'd imagine that every time they're late with their obligations to HMRC, they're going to face a winding up petition.

I've just checked and there's no Winding Up petition noted at Companies House yet, for either SUFC Ltd or Martin Dawn PLC.
The information came from my risk disc account who flagged up a new alert. I will continue to monitor in the morning.
Busy night on TV tonight ! Up the yoofs

Wasn't there an investment into Soccer Stadium PLC revealed on here just after the company was formed?
I think there was something on those lines yes...the fact still is there is or should be enough monies about to pay staff within the myriad of companies....it all depends I guess on Sainsbury's coughing up some more monies.
There would be no way of confirming that so therefore it can only be conjecture or Ron/TB stating a fact, which to be fair people would be within their rights to doubt.

Soccer Stadium PLC legally has so far only registered the right the trade & borrow, nothing else. That's all a normal company would do so nothing strange there, but without any charges being registered there would be no evidence of any financial activity.

Where did you hear that? as I can confirm that the players did get paid last month but the other staff ie admin etc did not

Only the 'first 11' got paid the rest did not nor did the non playing staff - it is all kicking off again - players and staff are very unhappy.

Well if you know that then your earlier statement is not true then as half of the players have been paid.

Hard to take such statements seriously when its already been confirmed by Tara wossisname players have actually been paid up to date.

If it is the case that some players remain unpaid then thats disappointing he claims they have.

'Chinese whispers', rumours, and 'Someone told me', 'i've heard' stories will be flying around all over the place tomorrow night. If the 'first 11' have been paid then it should'nt affect the team performance (hopefully). As a majority of players are only on a 1 year contract, then as long as they are paid till the end of the season we should be o.k. If however this was to change, then who knows what could occur?.

Petition I presume?

Yep.

How much was the investment then ?

found this article on a internet search engine re the statement of Tara investment in SUFC

MicroScope understands that Brady has invested significantly in Southend United - which was relegated to the second division in the Championship last season - to help the club realise its ambitions to build a new stadium.

"The chairman Ron Martin is well known to me and I view this as a partnership to promote the Club's success through the new stadium project. Relegation last year was a blow to everyone but now we are only looking forward," said Brady.

he was only a CEO at the company he left to join us so would assume rightly or wrongly he has sold his shares to invest in our club so unlikely he has a couple of million lying in the bank

Think I'll be giving this place a wide berth for a while.

Either that or can the owners just bring back the threads from this time last year and then just lock the forum for viewing? Can't wait to see a diatribe of RM is a ****, TB is a **** and so on.

'king hell, how I love this heap of a club I support but they don't half annoy me.

I spoke to a number of players on saturday who confirm that players are getting paid and have been all season
The only thing negative to come from anyone was the postponement
