Ryan Leonard

I'll tell you what @Marsh92, in all the years I have watched Lenny I don't think I saw a Southend goal scored from his long throws. That probably says more about our forwards than his throw. I hope he gets better returns from your mob.

There was one against AFC Wimbledon at home a couple of seasons back. Other than that very very rare

Millwall are playing QPR tonight and it is live on Sky (19.45 KO)

Lenny is playing and in the starting lineup.

Don't know if anyone watched, but I hope that makes some feel a bit better about Southend's plight.

No gameplay at all until an hour in, embarrassingly poor, spineless football. Wasn't kidding when I said the football at Peterborough was some of the best I've seen in ages. Why I believe the season isn't a write off yet.

Played against Sheff Utd yesterday (makes a real mockery of the “loan”) got booked early on, played 90 minutes and lost

I cannot see how Sheffield United bought him for so they say £750.000 and when the loan to Millwall is over , he will sign for them £1 million . How can his fee go up when he has not done much at Sheffield .

Had 6 months left on our contract...

I believe the figure is around £1.25m (according to the Sheffield Utd fans board). Millwall tracked him along with Sheffield when he was still with us so they definitely were prepared to pay whatever Sheffield Utd asked when they knew he was on offer. It's about whatever the 'going rate' is in the Championship and probably £1.25m is a pretty low amount to pay. When Millwall sold George Saville to Middlesborough they got a fee way in excess of Lenny's cost and Harris wanted him as a replacement, so if you want him be prepared to pay the asking price it seems. Financial logic is not something that is exists in abundance in pro football.

The way things are going he will find himself back in League1 next season. They are finding it a bit hard at the moment only one win in the league so far and lost 6 out of their last 7.

The way things are going Neil Harris will not be there to sign him .

Proper finding his feet now and becoming a real fans favourite. Gotta say, for a million or just over he looks a steal. Proper grafter.

RED CARD. Leonard is shown a second yellow card and is sent off after going in strongly on Kieftenbeld, and The Lions are down to 10 (0-1)
