off topic i know but i get slaughtered when i play that formation of fm :P

Really? It won me L2 titles with Hereford and Yeovil and L1 playoffs with Hereford! I think it's the perfect formation to play, it fits the positions of our squad nicely and would work brilliantly if the ball is kept on the deck.

Sounds more like he's been brought back because he wasn't being played..
This was confirmed by Ricky at the Fans' Forum last night.

GK - Morris
RB - Clohessy
CB - Phillips (Prosser if not fit)
CB - Barker
LB - Gilbert
RW - Leonard
CM - Timlin
CM - Kalala
LW - Johnson
CF - Dickinson
CF - Harris

Bench - Mohsni, Ferdinand, Sturrock, Bentley, Prosser/A N Other

No way I feel Mohsni should be allowed to walk straight back into the side, he has to learn that he is not irreplaceable and that his behaviour is not acceptable.

Some tough decisions for Sturrock to make but at least we have options for changing formation/tactics depending on how the match is going. Kalala will be a key player as Rotherham have some good attacking players and have scored lots of goals so far, even without Le Fondre. As OBL says, Mohsni doesn't deserve to walk straight back into the team and I wouldn't even put him on the bench. Have Sturrock as the forward option and Johnson can always move up there.

Morris

Clohessy - Phillips - Barker - Gilbert

Leonard - Kalala - Timlin - Johnson

Dickinson - Harris

Subs: Bentley, Prosser, James-Lewis, Ferdinand, Sturrock

think this will be our hardest game of the season so far so mr sturrock has to pick a very good eleven, and dont forget we come up against revell and you just know he is going to be up for it and play well.

I think that whatever the personnal for the game, PS will want to make us hard to get at and therefore I think it'll be a 433/451 formation.

My team to play Rotherham would be.......................

Barcelona!

How far from the pitch is it? Will I need binoculars?

Anyone at the reserves games yesterday would tell you that JJ is still not doing enough at the moment to warrant a call up to the first XI - certainly not ahead of other options available to Sturrock at the moment and not away from home where you can't afford to be carrying anybody. For one reason or another it just isn't happening for him at the moment and he looks as frustrated about it as we are - unfortunately its a case of 'the harder he tries the worse it gets' for the minute - we've all been there!

JPK is a definite though for Saturday I suspect and Antony Furlong and/or the little No 7 playing on the right wing (sorry I didn't have a teamsheet) would have made it on the subs bench I think if there were still 7 places available. Apart from JPK I thought they were the absolute stand-outs in what was a very disappointing affair and on that showing definitely a couple of players for the future.

Starting X1: Morris, Clohessey, Gilbert, Phillips, Barker, Leonard, Ferdinand, Kalala, Timlin, Dickinson, Sturrock. (SUBS: Bentley, Coughlan, Sawyer (if fit), Johnson, Harris).

Listened to PS's pre-match interview. He wouldn't be drawn into the possible inclusion of JJ or Leonard on Saturday but did offer the fact that Bilel was available. I suppose we can read what we want into that.

Looks like a half decent team and 442, smashing.

I've been told that despite the Brighton-esque qualities of the set up you do get a good view. I was going to miss it when I realised it was an athletics ground but on advice I'm giving it a whirl.

It's not like Brighton in that the stand is quite steep so you can at least see the pitch and aren't looking through the hammer net!!

My Oh's workmate told me that Revell fell out of favour with Slade over 'tweeting'. Slades not a big fan, but Rev's is...
