What are the chances these days of having a terrace rather than seats behind one goal for home fans at the new stadium?

But Morecambe are introducing collapsable seating at their new ground, so it is being introduced in the U.K.

Morecambe are in League 2, and thus there are slightly different expectations of the local authority in terms of status of match and capacity requirements.

If we were to install such a set-up and then get promotion to the Championship it would considerably affect the S factor of our stadium and therefore the capacity at that level where higher expectations are placed on the member clubs

At the new ground will there be secure covered areas to park motorbikes and push bikes?
Sean Pearce

Following the Taylor Report in the early 1990s stadia have to be all seater. There is a move in Europe to reintroduce terracing with, I believe, collapsible seats. If this was ever introduced into the UK – which I doubt – I would welcome it and do my best to accommodate this in the new stadium

However there is no chance of that coming to fruition before 22,000 seats will be installed at the new ground. There will howerver be covered areas to park motor bikes and push bikes.

Two out of three ain’t bad!

I think I'd get tetchy if I was Ron. It can't be easy trying to explain complex behind the scenes activity to laymen who only see the tip of the iceberg yet feel passionately about it so make judgements. Football supporters are not an easy brand of people to satisfy at the best of times.
