Rons BBC Essex interview

I actually thought the protesters were right to do it when they did, whether we agree on the protest actually happening at all is an already well debated issue but they didnt do it during the match and backed the team very well during the 90 mins whatever they do after that is up to them

Beaver is right, they did do it in the match, and I know that because I was sitting right in the mist of the chants from Blocks V and W. Again, I didnt join in with them, the flag was out at the start of the game, right at the top of block W, and remained there when the teams came out as well. The flag was brought down the front near the end of the match blocking some fans view, which I personally think is harsh on them fans who want to watch their team play. I dont believe that protesting is the answer, it will fall upon deaf ears imo, the club wont take much notice at the protest at all. But whether the fans were right or not to protest is not for this thread.

However, despite the protests, the atmosphere in Block W and V was absalutely electric! The fans backed the team brilliantly, and was really loud on many occasions. I have got a video of our supurb support after our first goal, will have to upload at some point.
Nice one TBV! :support:

Exactly, sack the board and then what??????.
Watch our club crumble and become non-existent possibly? Like I have said, Ron Martin and Co are the best people to get us through this sticky patch atm.
I found it quite ridiculous that they were singing "Sack the board" when we were 3-0 up, why do we need this when we are winning? It ruins a great match of football imo.

Didnt join in with the sack the board, but i did join in with the king out chants. The man is a stain on our otherwise fantastic club.

I sent a text which was read on BBC Essex. Basically Ron actions speak louder than words.

Havent we heard that we will be on site before? Has this been true? Havent we heard that we will be learning from past mistakes and signing players early? Has this been true? Havent we heard about war chests? Has this been true?

I for one dont believe everyword thats comes from the chairmans mouth unlike some.......

(Polite note - to anyone who doesn't understand that paragraph above then that is a clear object lesson to perhaps keep your traps shut and let the people who know how to run businesses run them without needless and panicked interjection by people who haven't got a scooby doo about what actually happens in big business. Sorry if that offends anyone but I'm sick of reading posts by people who seem to think that all RM has to do is go and get some money from the tree or under the stones in the rockery to put things right.)

The interview by Ron was interesting, and many points were raised, and answered - but let us not forget, Ron has said many things over the last 18 months which simply have not happened.

I understand your frustration at some peoples eccentric posts on here, but you do run the risk of losing a bit of credibility by posting this paragraph mate. The proof of the pudding is in the eating as they say, so let's wait and see what happens EITHER way before popping the Champagne corks, or sending in the bailiffs!

Oh and by the way whoever placed the flag there, i can tell you catergorically you couldn't read it from the Directors box as it was hanging too low!

i sit in the directors box the same row as ron marting basicly next to him only a row oh steps between me and his lovley hair and i can ensure you that no one could see the 'king out' bit

my take on the dougie comment ie he said he was a bit tired suggest Dougie lets us know when he feels able to start. You can take this one of two ways, either lazy, or legs so shot its a Sheringham type arrangement this season, which will defo be his last
