He has certainly backed the manager with players coming in this season and also held onto our key players, so i agree credit is due.
Some people will never give Ron any credit which is a shame but thats just how some folk are.

I'm all for credit where it's due, but doing the one thing that maybe 90% of Southend United fans had been thinking, asking and dreaming about for the last two seasons doesn't really count.

Also he has backed sturrock when he wanted players even though the squad was rather large for Southend united .Paul sturrock has faced his knockers and admited when he has got things wrong .And most of all the fans that have stuck with the club through thick and thin over the last few years .

Let's look at the bigger picture, We currently do not know the financial state of our club, other than RM is pumping 100k of his own money ;-) and we somehow keep amasing players. What we do know is that all his companies are skint so he must have a ****off mattress!!! The reason we ended up in the mess we did and that according to you, Ron got us through is due to Rons ego and over spending in the first place.

When will I say thank you? When we are playing in a new stadium and there are some clear and concise plan for Our football club to be self surficient. Oh and he finally sells up and does one.
