The front two of walker and Pebble are the right pairing. And I can see them doing well this season.

It is, but I'm in my caravan in Great Yarmouth at a prog rock festival with no tv and have built my plans on listening to the game in between Soft Machine and docking a bit of the Emerald Dawn set, AND cook my pizza for tea whilst listening to the Blues. Now the only excitement I've got is waiting for my spicy meat fest on Gas Mark 7 for 11 minutes. F*** me... we've just scored!!!! Well ****ed off now

Very satisfactorily first half. Defensively very good. Wind showing he is a very decent RWB at this level- put to bed that discussion. Pepple is going to be a very decent player- like him.

Collin hasn’t needed to make a single save and I don’t think they have had a shot on or off target.

Ralph did very well for the goal- and Walker- well to have the skill to fake a complete air shot to dummy the defence out of the way before scoring- what a talent… somehow goalscorers always seem to find a way to score..

Anyway another large G&T warranted…

Absolutely deserved that! Also it shuts those biased melts up in the commentary box. Banging on about what Rochdale need to do to score, what about us?! We were the better team and had the best chance!

Anyway, brilliantly solid half for us. Pepple and Walker were great. We actually have width with Ralph and Wind. Fair play to wind, you'd think Vini Junior was playing thy way those melts were talking. Wind has martialed him really well and got forward in equal measure.

The more mobile front two is definitely working this game. All the defenders are having a solid game, hardly giving Rochdale a chance. Wind is growing in confidence and getting better.

Playing well, but can't stand this go back to go forward. Put teams under pressure in the last third, not invite pressure on us...

Impressed with the two up front (such a difference in attacking threat when Bonne isn't playing) and Wind at right back looks like a fine replacement for GSM when he goes in the next transfer window.

Just got to keep i tight at the back now and not give the ball away too easily which has been our Achilles heal this season.
