I can’t imagine they’ll do the roots hall screen for this one. Due to it being playoffs we get 50% of the ticket revenue so there isn’t the same profit to be made as the Gateshead game. That and I would imagine COSU would want as many at Rochdale as possible to support the boys for promotion into the EFL.

COSU are good business men and I can't see them turning down potential revenue.

There's money to be made to screen the game at roots hall. I'd be very surprised if they don't do it again.

If ticket sales are split 50/50 would this not need to be included? If so, may be less cost effective plus you are also losing income off the pitch bookings that are already in.

So you had a booking for next Thursday and for the 21st?
We’ve got the 21st, but they offered us and whoever booked the pitch for Thursday evening a chance to change our bookings to a few other dates on a first-come first-serve basis.

We only got the info just after 9 a.m, so if they do go ahead for next Thursday I’m sure we’ll get some info soon. One things for certain is that they said 21st would categorically be off if we get through.

Whilst it would be great to just go there and impose ourselves on Rochdale, they will undoubtedly want to do exactly the same to us. So I reckon this is going to be a war of attrition, especially in the first half, so it's got to be Hopper for me from the off. Bonne is great for later on when we need his tenacity and ****ehousery, but not from the beginning. The squad is now tuned for high press, so again, Hopper's the man.

Yes, Rochdale are surely favourites but they shouldn't find it easy to score against us. Maybe a draw followed by penalties.....?
I just don't agree that they are favourites. We're on a roll, and confidence is high. Back in the day, when I did play football, we liked nothing more than to go an away cup game, buoyed by the knowledge that we'd dicked that home side once already that season. Pro footballers are no different, they will know they won last visit and be up for it. All that is needed is sufficient continuity of form for the entire game. Oh, and I nearly forgot, score goals (easy peasey eh?).

We can beat Rochdale. I don't know if we will but they only finished 6 pts ahead of us so it's a reasonable match imo.

Joe Thompson, a man who fought cancer several times, died on the 17th of April at the age of 36. Horrible. It will be interesting to see if their players are inspired by him or overwhelmed by the atmosphere that such a tragedy can bring.

The plus of Coker first is his engine. He can do a full 90, and I'm not convinced that Leon can (next season maybe with a full pre-season). I reckon we will see Leon on the pitch, but not till the second half.
Agree mainly I just think it would be a curve ball for Rochdale to think about.
