I don't think anyone is hyping it, but it's one very handy option given the free and spacious parking and the short distance to Spotland. There have been several other posts on this thread about further options near to or at the ground, as well as those in the town centre.

I'm too long in the tooth to let it bother me as much these days. Whatever will be will be. Regardless of what happens tonight, I'll be ready to go again in July. If pushed, I would say we will be playing each other again next season, but I'm useless at predictions!
