Post-Match Thread and Ratings Rochdale 3-4 Southend United

What a night! Unbelievable performance from the mighty Blues. Certainly got our hearts racing. KAF is so full of energy, well deserved man of the match. Gonna take a few hours to unwind now, phew! COYB

What a game , the first 20 seconds set the tone , they shut us down and caught Taylor napping and it spread through the team
hayes and Goodlife had a first half to forget however apart from Rodney we were the better team.

How crazy is football , why can’t we attack like the final 25 mins every week ,we have it in our locker and I think that’s where the frustration lies with Maher and the set up

Turning point was when the camera panned to Bentley , currie and Maher in discussion mid second half and boy did they rolled the dice

KAF deserves player of the season on that display alone , if I was a league one or two manager he would be in my list after watching that 120 min masterclass

On holiday so took my IPTV stick for a few days break too. Worked a treat. What a great game and result. We gifted them two of their three goals....ours were all crackers, especially Hoppers. Sadly I got into trouble for scaring our dog (who's also on holiday) sh*tless every time we scored. You could hear those Blues fans roaring and singing all game. Brilliant support and I bet the Hall was rocking too. Safe trip home all.

Think we learnt last year that one of kevs biggest strengths is creating the siege menta!ity. The 'us against the world' feeling in the dressing room. Suits the play off situation well and think we saw it tonight. Reminded me of how we played when we on!y had 12 players.
Thought kaf hopper and bonne were our best.
Reckon we must be favourites against FGR now who won't relish their prospects.
Well done all the travelling fans. Heard you loud and clear.
Yes in Kev's post match interview he attacked the ref and said they've had everything thrown at them and nowadays they just cut through it. Really great siege stuff as you say

In years to come we will look back at that KAF performance and still be talking about it. He was sensational and his spirit never let us settle for a loss. The ref clearly didn’t like him though.

I didn’t see anything in that first half that worried me about Rochdale although at 3.1 you fear the worst, but never in doubt really as we were by far the better team overall, even in the first half when we defended like clowns.

Still plenty of water to flow under the bridge and safe trips home to all that travelled up today. Up the Blues
