Ricketts for WBA?

I think he'll leave it, which i don't agree with.

Gutts should be dropped 100%. Hunt is the logical replacement. I'm 75% on dropping Paynter for Harrold and (shock value here) 50% on dropping Flavs for Collis (just would like to see the latter in goal as a trial)

Whose gonna get upset about the last one first?

I think Tilly will leave it unchanged. Very rarely does tilly change the squad apart from injuries eg clarke in for spinner when he got injured. So until Gutts or Paynter get injured or suspended, it'll be unchanged

BBC say Rickets is in contention for a start after playing a behind closed doors match midweek, so maybe theres a surprise coming.

Brom are going to have ellington and phillips, even with no hartson thats a good front line. If earnshaw could terrorise us like he did, imagine these 2 coming at us :E

People love trying to change things because the other player is better, because he didnt make the mistake that the guy on the pitch did. Personally, I'd be a bit gutted yet excited to see Harrold in the starting 11, Paynter could really fire off into a great player soon. He does look a class above Harrold and personally, although i think matt harrold could become a bit of a legend, but if Harrold had played the first 70 in the formation with a quiet crowd and then Paynter had come on Paynter with his power could have ripped them to shreds. Can't wait until Ricketts is back, play Ricketts 70mins, bring on Paynter, demolish them for sure.

How long would you give his "bad form" to be played through? Until March when we're facing relegation? Drop him now, show his place isn't guaranteed and he's got to work his arse off to get back in the starting 11.
Contrary to how it may seem, I'm not actually Steve Tilson so I can't give an answer that has an impact on the team.

Leaving that aside, there is more than one way to deal with bad form. The popular approach is to frop a player and bring in someone else. It's not so absurd to keep a player in and let him play himself out of bad form. You can't have much of an opinion of Gutts if you reckon he'll be playing the same way by March.

I like this idea, especially for tomorrow in particular. It would give our midfield more solidity like last season and if we can go there and be resolute maybe we can nick a very impressive point at the Hawthorns.

However I can't help thinking Gutts needs a spell on the bench.
If, and only if, Hunt had to be in the side then I feel he should be at right back and Francis pushed in front of him on the wide right of midfield. Hunt has absolutely no distribution skills and would be no more help than JCR on the right mid.

Not at all, when he's good, he's quality, like at Sunderland. I can't see the logic in continually playing a player who's not even 50% when at this level, every single point we can claw will keep us away from the drop.
