This statement is so true, Tamika Mkandawire plays for the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the League below the MLS and i am sure that many would welcome him back with open arms
After Penney gets nicked for the Casino ´´rumble ´´ (aledgedly, Supposedly and innocent until proved etc etc) can I suggest an alternative that we are called ´´Thorpe Bay Rowdies´´ as an MLS name??

Nice Photo!

2015 average attendance is 5,700 compared to our 6,024 so you can see that it is growing in status

It's Orlando City I'm keeping my eye on due to my love for the place and the fact I lived there for a year - I watched them once or twice in their final USL Pro season when they were playing at ESPN Wide World of Sports and they were getting crowds of 3-5,000 then. Now it's an MLS Franchise and is playing in Downtown Orlando, average attendances are around the 38,000 mark. It really is growing.

Yeah Im not sure why he is being classed as a 'good player with pedigree' with such little known about him.

If he were that good he wouldnt have gone to the states or coming back on trial to us. Hopefully he will prove to be a good player, but also likely he will trial and disappear.

Eh? Who wouldn't rather play for Toronto or New York than float around the lower leagues?

MLS technically is now a higher standard than L1 and the teams are technically better than Southend last season. However, it's "apples & oranges" MLS more like Spain or Italy, slower build up and players given more space and time in certain areas of the field. Nothing like the fully committed "blood & guts" "kick and run" we often see and enjoy in L1 & L2. Always amazed how USA soccer is still slagged off England. The National team certainly better than England at the moment, just beat Holland & Germany away last month, have beaten Italy in Italy last year, Think of the reaction if England had been able to do that. Happy about Timlin signing.
