SUFC: The Future RH Redevelopment

As we are talking years for the major development to complete, if it is started, are there any plans to freshen up other areas or are we expected to poke up with incredibly poor conditions? It's questionable if some areas are genuinely fit for use and the word 'insanitary' is a politeness.

25 Roots Hall Avenue bit of a pain in the bum for development of the East. Guarantee the people In those new flats will complain about lack of light from any East Stand development.

IIam sure I’ve seen it somewhere before. A picture of all the land (and property)in and around the club owned by the club. I’m thinking revenue opportunities must extend beyond what could be offered in any rebuilt stand?
Very early on Justin mentioned how large the car park was and that maybe not all the parking was needed and hinted at the possibility of some property development. Personally I'd have thought that if they're having large conference/function facilities then a large car park would be necessary for that.

  1. Any corporate facilities wouldn't be in use on a matchday
  2. There would still be some car parking
  3. The stadium is in the city centre between two train stations and on the route of at least 10 different buses

I appreciate there wouldn't be a clash between match day parking and conference facility use, and that some parking would be retained. But if you want to attract weddings and conferences to the town then bus routes and train stations aren't going to be enough - adequate car parking will be, imho, essential.

What is current car parking capacity?

No idea. I get the train or bus to the ground.

Looking at Google maps if you exclude the Club and match officials spaces I reckon about 250.
