Question Revell/Barnard/Freedman

Tilly, being one of those rare, old-fashioned managers who doesn't tinker with a winning team (i.s: Macca can't get back in), would probably keep with Revs and Walker, even if Dougie and Barney were fit. At most I could see him bringing one in in place of Walker.

I think it's great that Tilly sticks with his winning team and that's why ever since we've had him we've gone on a marvellous run at some point of the season 17 games unbeaten L2 promotion year, 8 straight wins L1 champs year, there was even one in Championship relegation year and that amazing run to the end of last season.

Other teams (see Ipswich) who are good teams have ruined their chances by tinkering but Tilly has full faith and rarely changes a line up unless he sees something major in a game or is forced to by injury or suspension.

I hope he keeps it that way.

If Walker ever starts for us again it will be too soon. His missed open goal on saturday, was nothing short of discraceful! If no Freedman or Barney tomorrow, then lets throw Laurent in and see what he can do from the off.

Your having a laugh aint you?

I like how Walker has gone from a decent player to "pooh" following one miss in the Play-off semis. Nothing like fickle fans is there.

FWIW, I thought Walker looked a whole lot better on Saturday playing in his preferred position. There was some decent movement, and his only real "crime" was missing that open goal - and to be fair, if you look at it, I think it came to him a bit unexpectedly and he took a quick shot....it wasn't too far away and if it had gone in then I'm sure people would be raving about him. That old confidence issue again! I say let him start, he'll have less pressure without the crowd on his back.

Walker was one of our better players against swindon, kept the ball well towards the end too. Good to see him back playing again. Still don't rate Revell very much, try as he might..Getting that goal won't hurt though.
