Well ...Spiff did say he was going to sort it ....I took that as gospel..and maybe he is having probs ...so blame me i guess for the wrong timing..:o
 
I post on other forums that use vBulletin and the rep system, and they implement it differently - far fewer points up for grabs so the thing doesn't grow out of hand, and individual posters have far less power. I know that might not be popular with all, but IMHO it would be a lot fairer and less open to abuse (and it would be longer before we ran into the max rep barrier!).
 
I prefer it when it gets out of hand (though not masively). I like having a few 'big ones' and then just let them toy with me.
