Rep As It Is, Yes Or No

More important than adjusting everyone's rep is adjusting how much rep someone can dish out. Otherwise we'll find ourselves having the same discussion in 6 months time again. Address the cause, not the symptom.

I'd also favour reducing everyone's rep by 95% rather than resetting to zero, so not to let people off the hook for their past indiscretions.
 
Perhaps a decent solution to the giving of rep would be to give one point each time someone is repped and take away one point when they're neg repped. Then at least you'd get a better representation of how respected the poster's opinions are rather than how many times the top-ranked posters have repped them...
 
Why don't you reset it at the end of every month?

That way we could have a Zoner Of The Month Award and a Hall of Fame and an inevitable Zoner Of The Month curse that would see the winners subsequently writing bobbins for the following two weeks

Actually, Cricko, did you start this ages ago and you keep winning it?

No I dont remember that Ian .but that isnt a bad idea...Maybe not monthly but 3 or six monthly? We could award the winners a yearly Job writing for some cheap tabloid magazine in Singapore.;)

Cheap tabloid newspaper, actually, I'll have you know! We get the facts wrong on a much more regular basis than your average mag!

Three monthly at the most, I reckon.

Spot on, thats what I would like to see.

Over the last couple of weeks, I got neg repped twice, and turned red, then DtS pos repped me and I was back in the green. Crazy.
