Anyone been? The All at Sea team will be heading there after Friday's game to celebrate Roachy's birthday.

Is it too good to be true that there is actually a bar in Southend that plays decent music? Even Chameleon on a Wednesday has gone downhill recently.

Me too, for if we have a very lovely time, the chances are that Southend would have won and we would have sold issue 2 out!

If it's anything like the one in Cardiff, it'll be crap

If you love all things 80's then it's the place to go.

Made my debut last Friday and was loving every single tune.

How can you say that?! The pole-dancing there, at the very least, was first class...

It's just a thought but would an 80s venue be so popular because virtually all the modern stuff is sh*t ?? (obviously this excludes Miss B) Or is it just frequented by sad has beens in their 30s and 40s ?

Rap - Is it only me that doesn't geddit ?

Bananarama anyone ?

Bananarama?? Bring on Rick Astley!

I think music is as good as it has been for ages

The Killers, Ordinary Boys, Thirteen Senses, Kasabian, The Thrills, Dead 60's all brought/bringing out very good singles/albums but then again, ORM doesn't know much (bar footballing wisdom)

The best Bananarama song was Cruel Summer.

It's on the karate Kid soundtrack........apparently.....

Did you know that 'Robert De Nero's waiting' by Bananarama
is actually about a girl who has been raped.

I bet Cheggers or Dave Lee Travis never knew that.

Yeah but you can't go anywhere in Southend and listen to the likes of the Killers, The Thrills etc because it's all R & B and garage. I think Reflex should be popular with younger types as the majority agree that the type of music played in clubs like Talk and Chameleon is utter, utter rubbish.
