With an injury list as long as we have, bodies are what we need right now. Don't care how, just get them in and get us safe.

I personally feel that it's best to loan players for the rest of the season in January, as at the end of the season we have good chances of signing them, whilst also not paying big fees for panic buys like Foran.

Why not?? if he likes it here and he gets first team football, and we show we pushing for the championship, i think he might, got a lot of french players he can divulge with.

Thats his interview... He states he was getting Doran in, and that hes been rejected on an offer for a reading striker.

Yeah but Sawyer and Harding both liked it here and would have been happy to stay longer/permantely but it was their clubs who wouldn't allow it. Therefore if we got a clause in the loan deal saying we can make it permanent for x amount of money, we could have got them.

We have signed a centre-half and so are now be pushing for the Championship? I understand what you are trying to say but the fact of the matter is until we a get few wins under a belt (starting on Saturday) we are in a relagation battle.

Absolutely right.. I'm afraid we're already too far behind. This season is now all about staying in this division and planning ahead to give it a better go next year. Unfortunately, for various reasons, this season has come apart at the seams. However if we can get enough bodies and experience in place, with a bit better luck with injuries we should be able to stay in this division. Thats all I want from this season.

However, Ron and Tilly need to do some serious planning (perhaps with a bit of realism thrown in) for next season to ensure we are set up to make a better fist of it.

It really isnt about changing the management in any way, IMO.

Wouldnt have christophe if we didnt loan players, nor McCormack.

We have 23 strikers on our books and we need a loan to cover injuries to 22 of them....
