Rangers

So there we have it, a new tv deal signed, sealed and delivered. Yes, the SPL deal has been reduced drastically. By, erm, £400,000 a year in total.

The good news is that SFL clubs will be included too, which I'm sure is entirely coincidental to Rangers Newco Sevco plying their trade there.

On average there will be around a 15% reduction in tv revenue for SPL clubs. Which seems to bear out all along that those in the Glasgow media, spouting hot air about clubs going to the wall and the end of Scottish football, were scaremongering to suit their own agenda. Davie Provan this week should be feeling particularly embarrassed, and maybe a little ashmed of himself, after the spite and bile he wrote.

Sevco get their tv coverage, there's a fairer division of income for everyone, and there's been record season ticket sales for some clubs. The death knell indeed .....
