Question Put the loanees in the order you want them.

more to the point which of the loanees could we realistically sign?
Harding- maybe as has fallen out with management at ipswich
sawyer - again maybe he not really gonna get much of a chance at chelsea, surely he has got the taste for first team footy and could see us as a good place to start his rise to fame

I think the others may be out of our reach, being highly rated by there respective clubs, anyway harding would be my first choice

Good point, realistically I'd take Harding, Christophe, Sawyer, HRK and Federici, but out of preference Federici at the top, then the same.

1. Christophe - does the simple things so well that you hardly notice him, he's been a real asset to the side.

2. Harding - agree with all the comments about him, and although many were disappointed we didn't get Charlie Mulgrew, Harding is an upgrade defensively.

3. Sawyer - a really good prospect, isn't really strong enough to do 90 minutes at this level yet. I would also love to see him here as we would make a mint when we sell him on.

4. HRK - he's a bit inconsistent but obviously has ability and scores some pretty valuable goals.

5. Federici - I've made him fifth because quite simply I don't think we have an earthly of signing him. I've always thought that John Burridge was the best loan signing we've ever had but Federici runs him very close. Quality keeper who deserves a chance to play at a higher level.

fbm summed it up perfectly for me:

Harding - we desperately need a left back
Cristophe - keeps Laurent happy and is a top midfield enforcer, protecting the back 4
Sawyer - what a great prospect
HRK - another superb player, but one in a position which isn't truly vital to our success
Fed - Magnificent, but as good as the Fed Express is, we can't afford him, and he could walk into just about any Champ side right now - so let's target our resources where they're needed most.

Federici
Harding
Sawyer
Christophe
HRK

TBH i'd love to see them all because Federici is an amazing keeper and could become a legend for us. Harding is the only good LB we have. Sawyer is an attacking minded player but his work rate and tough tackling is good. Christophe is a good holding midfielder and he likes to shoot from distance (would love to see him score a 30 yard screamer against Col Ewe =P). HRK is a great player, he can be a real threat but sometimes he doesn't turn up, but he has good potential and i can't think of anyone off the top of my head who can play LM.

1.Harding
2.Christophe
3.Federici
4.Sawyer
5.Kanu

Harding & Christophe have to be the priorities, as good as Federici is we have Mildenhall, Joyce & Masters already. LB we only have Herd. Would love all 5 though!

1. Sawyer - offers that little bit of quality we've missed ever since ldnfatso hounded out Mark Gower.
2. Harding - best left-back since Chris Powell, but more to the point he's our only defender who knows how to defend.
3. Robson-Kanu - far from the finished article, but his young age makes him more valuable.
4. Christophe - our best player for the last month or so, but we've other young players who could step in and play that role.
5. Federici - done a good job but Mildenhall will be fit soon and looks competent enough.

Think this is fair.

But I would be delighted with any one of them, and over the moon with all 5!

1) Harding - We are simply not going to be able to sign a better left back than him anytime soon.
2) Christophe - Does a job nobody else at the club can do. And would probably help Laurent even further if we signed him.
3) Sawyer - Slightly less important than Christophe but would give McCormack a kick up the backside when needed.
4) Robson-Kanu - He's got to more during games rather than just 5 minute bursts every 25 minutes.
5) Federici - Mildenhall is a very capable keeper at this level anyway, but there's simply no chance of signing Federici so why bother when we can concentrate on other areas.

Exact order I'd go for as well. Special mentions to MtS and fbm as well for picking them in that order.

I can't believe Sawyer is so low down everyone's list. Surely he has the highest ceiling out of any of them and would be a cracking investment. Moreover he's young enough so that when his contract expired we'd still be due a fee, whilst if we signed the likes of Federici, Harding and Christophe on a 2 or 3 year deal they could walk for free at the end of it.

Harding has to be the number one priority, good left backs are hard to come by and he is easily championship quality, which could be the problem as other clubs may have been impresssed by his performances. The other positions we have players already but Christophe looks like a probable and maybe Sawyer onto the end of the season, although hopefully Macca can recapture his form of last season. I like Kanu but think we could perhaps get someone in January on a permanent basis who is perhaps more of a Gower type player, able to play more penetrating passes.
Fed no chance, should be playing for at least a top 6 champ club, just lucky to have have had him as he is by far the best keeper in this division.

aye. Follow the money, people.

1. Fed (without any doubt- a great goalie!!!)
2. Harding (top class left back)
3. Christophe (looking better every game)
4. HRK (always get a great match from him)
5. Sawyer (works his as off, but runs out of steam.

If only we could sign some of these on a permanent basis. Now that would be a team to beat???

I'm with you Yorkie. Sawyer is quite happy to take the ball off the back four and run it out of our half if necessary. Take him out of the team and we are back to the start of the season, Barret and Clarke hoofing it.
Christophe next, because having him there lets Sawyer play the way he does.

1) Sawyer
2) Christophe
3) Harding
4) Federici
5) HRK.
