Question Put the loanees in the order you want them.

DTS

The Business
Tilly wants your help. What order of priority woudl you suggest for him to approach the players.

1) Harding
2) Christophe
3) Sawyer
4) Federici
5) HRK.

Would like to add I would give my right nad to sign all five just think a decent left back is harder to find than a decent left winger. Its testimant to Tilson that I would be delighted to get HRK full time even though he is 5th in my list.

  4. Cristophe
  5. Kanu

I'm a massive fan of Kanu, so that really shows how much I rate the loanee's we have.

This is actually too tough Dave!! But, if forced, maybe I'd go:

1) Federici
2) Sawyer
3) Christophe
4) Harding
5) HRK

I really really worry what's going to happen to us once Fed leaves, then I've gone for the two central midfielders as they have more of a "glamour" role than the left-back, but I do take your point Dave about the lack of good LB talent out there...

1.Fed ,without a doubt gives the whole of the team confidence, he assumes control of the defence and it shows throughout the rest of the team.

2.Sawyer..he is so lively and is involved with everything in midfield.

3. Christophe...I rate him higher than that Ginger git who went to Charlton.. he is a great stopper in midfield and has a sensible head.

4. Harding..seems to have had a decent rest. His free kicks have come on 1 million percent.

5..HRK...seems a great player and very clever on the ball, but yet to be convinced about him.

Hard to rank but I'll try...

1) Sawyer- really brings something unique and creative to central midfield which I think we'll miss when he goes (as much as I'd love to see us keep him, I don't think we will)
2) Harding
3) Christophe
4) HRK
5) Federici- he's a class act but I think we're better covered in goal than in midfield/left-back

That said, I'd be happy to keep any of them.

1. Federici
2. Sawyer
3. Christophe
4. Harding
5. HRK

I'm with Fred on this one, A big fan of Kanu's but I think the other loanees we have are in a class of their own.

Harding (We miss him in the defence)
Christophe (Breaks up play brilliantly)
Sawyer ( brilliant but Macca is in no way a weakness)- We've got Macca
Federici (Quality keeper but has no desire to stay-give mids a chance) - We've got Mildenhall
HRK (Top quality for this league, needs to do more defending in my book) - We've got Scannell

1. Harding - we have no other LB with league experience, and Bristol showed us life without him.

2. Christophe - On the basis he is the most likely of the loanees that their current club may let go.

3. HRK - Left sided midfield is again a weakness in our squad and he has proved capable and will get better too.

4. Sawyer - Unlikely he will be allowed to leave and if he is, then I feel he would be snapped up by a Championship club.

5. Federicci - His rumoured wages alone put him out of our league, so his presence here is very similar to when Dave Smith managed to persuade Aston Villa to lend us John Burridge for a month in the late 70's. Way below his level, but wonderful to see such quality behind a Blue shirt (or green or yellow as the case may be!)

Bloody tough one this as they are all quality players!

1 - Sawyer
2 - Harding
3 - Christophe
4 - Fed
5 - HRK

As has been said already, I too am a big fan of HRK and would love for him to sign permanently for us so it shows how high i rate the others

1. Harding (surprised if there are many, if any, better LB than him in L1)
2. Christophe (crucial player for us as he breaks up so many attacks and protects messrs barrett and clarke)
3. Feds (don't really need a gk but if you get the chance to improve the squad, like with Freedman, you dont turn it down)
4. Sawyer (Good player but i feel that Macca, once fit, will fit in fine and we have got a few cm)
5. HRK (Good player but i think Scannell and Betsy are the ways forward)

1. Sawyer
2. Federici
3. Christophe
4. Harding
5. HRK

There's a large dose of pragmatism in the above, with potential sell-ons at least as big a factor as what they might do for us in the short term, IMO.

1) Harding - We are simply not going to be able to sign a better left back than him anytime soon.
2) Christophe - Does a job nobody else at the club can do. And would probably help Laurent even further if we signed him.
3) Sawyer - Slightly less important than Christophe but would give McCormack a kick up the backside when needed.
4) Robson-Kanu - He's got to more during games rather than just 5 minute bursts every 25 minutes.
5) Federici - Mildenhall is a very capable keeper at this level anyway, but there's simply no chance of signing Federici so why bother when we can concentrate on other areas.

Federici- Its not just a coincidence that since he has signed we have risen up the league. Brilliant all around keeper and an improvement on even Flavs! Sadly too good for us.

Sawyer- Has the potential to be better than Nicky Bailey. Has it all and there is more too come. Too good for us like Fed.

Harding- Good LB's are hard to come by.

Christophe- Has won me over since he signed. Doesn't do much special, but hardly does much wrong. Strong and solid in the middle. The new Kevin Maher.

HRK- A decent enough player, although don't think he has been at his best this loan spell. A good L1 player.

However, realistically I think we could sign them in this order:

-Christophe
-Harding
-HRK
-Sawyer
-Federici

4. Robson-Kanu
5. Federici

My list is chosen for what I think we need most. Without doubt, Harding is an absolute must if we can as we have no other cover.

There is not a lot between the midfield 3... again they are chosen in the order of the type of player they are and what we need most. Christophe in my opinion is a must as he is French and he will help laurent settle in. Take him away and Laurent becomes less happy off the pitch as he will have lost his mate. That is going to be detrimental to the team.

Sawyer I'd love to have for the season and I think that is likely but beyond that no chance.

Robson-Kanu gives us a great balance but I haven't yet seen Betsy and Scannell both out wide in the same game.

Finally Federici, who is probably one of the finest quality keepers to ever grace the shirt. Although he would be a fantastic addition we already have 3 keepers and regardless of anyone's opinion Mildenhall is a decent and proven league 1 keeper. We don't have the resources to waste on keeping Feds, much as I would love him to be here full time. That would mean sacrificing players elsewhere and we cannot afford to do that.

If I could give you green I would fbm, considering you've just said everything I believe as well.
