PS3 deals?

Cheers for confirming. There seems to be a few myths out there as to the difference between the 40gb & 60gb.

Have no knowledge at all of wireless routers or anything so it could be fun trying to set it up! Next question, can anyone recommend a wireless router to connect the PS3 to my cable broadband? Questions questions eh.

I presume he means that there's no internet browser with the 40gb machine although if that is the case then that's no real loss.

Backwards compatability was a big issue for me as I've got about half a dozen big PS2 games that I own but haven't played all the way through yet and didn't really want to keep my old PS2 out. It meant that I ended up buying my PS3 six months ahead of schedule so I could get the 60gb model before they all sold out. That said, it's not a concern for me with regards to future releases - if a game is out on PS2 and PS3 then I'll be getting the PS3 version even if it is up to £20 more expensive. If you're just going to get the PS2 version then you might as well just stick to your old PS2. I don't really understand that arguement.

Sony did a bit of a balls up removing the backwards compatability from their 40GB machine. However as this piece of functionality is just a software update that could easily release it if enough people request it. Who knows.
