The need for midfielders to weigh in with more goals is vital.
Sometimes I think certain players need to shoot more.

Kev Maher really needs to get his shooting boots on, his chip into the keeper's arms on Weds v Col Ewe sums it up.

Bentley hopefully will keep banging them in, as will Jay Smith when he comes back.

Just need Gower, Petts, and Maher to start scoring regularly.

IMHO I think the guy gives 110% in every game, He gets forward and creates good oppurtunities for forwards and is not afraid of a good challenge.

Jupp is quite effective on the overlap, but his defending could be better. Having said that, his real downfall is his passing ability, or to be more precise, his total lack of it! three out of every four crosses are sliced off behind the goal or fail to reach waist height. He all too often hits ambitious passes cross filed which invariably go straight to the opposition. He is not the worst right back we have had by a long chalk, but I do feel he is a weakness in this present side.

The play-offs are sh*t I'd rather go up automatically. There are three places up for grabs- DONT YOU EVER KNOW THAT???. If Bramble could score 20 goals-a-season plus we win the LDV I think there is every chance we will have out cake and eat it. The only thing that bothers me is whether or not Lewis Hunt is a centre forward or right back because we need goals and fast. Despite what all the pro-Corbett brigade say I'm not too sure whether we have the fire power at the back to deal with Juppys 'young Jim Morrisson' hair style because without leon Cortantine there is very little hope that the fans will be celebrating come next february. Also the goalkeeper Flahavan has promotion written all over him as did Dave Morley but we got rid of him- when will we ever learn??? However my main point is that the ground just does not generate enough heat these days. Roots Hall was feared back in the day by everyone including the home fans. Enough for now.
