Programmes you loved but bizarrely no one else remembers

I loved 'Out of Town' with Jack Hargreaves.

I was also upset when Eldorado was canned by the BBC.

The Adventure Game on BBC2 around 6pm.

Superb, this was a great program

As was Terrahawks and Tripods

I remember this because at school in the infants rather than doing maths and sh!te we watched it. I remember some kid dreaming about boffs island whilst eating his weetabix and not much else. I enjoyed it because it meant we didn't have to do any work.
It also enabled me to look up Mrs Edwards skirt, she wore those brown velevet hippy skirts and would sit in such a way by the huge television, that took one minute to warm up, that it gave us clear access to view her anatomy. One kid at class~ Peter Monday~ reckoned he got so close he could smell her wee.
I guess at the time I was probably wearing a rainbow tanktop, flares and delta wing collared shirts.

Battle Of The Planets

Odysseus 3000

The Great Egg Race - Heinz Wolff.....legend.

Tripods was too slow, never really went anywhere. Adventure Game was tops!

I used to watch Dark Towers at School for some reason......

I used to Love Cities of Gold and before that Jamie and his magic torch.

Chico the Rainmaker

Rocky O'Rourke

Joe and Oh! Joe

Revolver

Ali Bongo's Saturday Morning Show

Space Kidette's

Yoga for Health

The Romper Room

Was having my hair cut in the barbers today, and they had Quantum Leap on the telly. I absolutely used to love that programme... ahh Scott Bakula, where are you now...

A child from the seventies I am, but There where loads I could choose from!

When I had a bit of time off last year I was all over the Quantum Leap reruns on ITV3, managed to see the last episode. Really good ending.

Dean Stockwell resurfaced in a Gnarls Barkley music video last year.

Terrahawks and Pugwall were awesome.

Mysterious Cities of Gold, now that was the ONE. It must have dragged on for what seemed like 3 years.

Two for me, both comedies:-

"Feet First" which was based on football, and
"Seconds Out" which was based on boxing.

Other than the sports theme, can anyone spot what they have in common?

Space 1999 - do you remember thinking how far away it seemed in the 70's and now its been and gone. God feel old

Also Runaround - Mike Reid - "RUNAROUND NOW!"
