So that's why Man Utd ditched Vodafone for a new sponsor!
It wasn't a Glazer driven corporate tie-in, it was them showing their subliminal support for one of the finest players ever to play for SUFC

After the Barnsley experience and a very brief mutual exchange of shoulder shrugs at the end with Spinner as he came off I wrote him what I thought was a motivational letter for the whole team.

they wern't as bad as at Barnsley today but not far off - reckon I'll not bother writing this time, and with Spinner looking as though he was about to slit his wrists on the interview maybe my spiel just about tipped him over the edge.

oh bllcks. watching three sh!te defeats in eight days is no good for the soul and i reckon our next game is the hardest of the lot.

never mind, cup draw tomorrow.

onwards and upwards

Natch!

I thought everyone knew that. It was the same subliminal technique that meant that they knew that they were beaten even before the game, and respect for the God-Man Ansah that made Fergie so uncharacteristically positive about Southend after the game!
