Going for a 3-1 win with Liverpool side in shock of how good we are!!!
Crowd: 8794 (Away fans 252)

Bring on Manchester United at Home

The one to watch from Liverpool will be their Spanish attacking midfielder, Suso. One of the youngsters that Benitez bought in a few years ago, he's supposed to be a real class act and has scored a number of fantastic goals for them in the FA Academy League, whereas Andre Wisdom is a hugely effective centre-half.

It depends how seriously they take us, to be honest. I wouldn't be surprised to see a few of the '93 or even '94 age group involved.

Dont no a lot about the youngsters, only they have done well to get this far. Poss this might be a bridge to far for them, so reckon 2 0 defeat, hope im wrong.

The sun is shining, there is no hint of any pitch inspection and the referee has not arrived yet.

Imagine the game will be postponed then.

Depends on whether they have done their homework on the likes of Suso and Raheem Sterling. Both exceptional talents.

Will also be interesting to see ex Shrimper Michael Ngoo in action.

The Scouse kids are rattling in an average of nearly 3 goals a game this season.

This is going to be the toughest test our boys have ever faced.

Unfortunately I think this encounter will prove a bridge too far for our talented bunch.

I will go for a 3-0 win for the Scouse.

Looking forward to watching live on LFC TV this evening.

Two questions.

1. What time is kick off?
2. Do you know if LFCTV is charging for this?

BTW, apparently Ngoo might not be fit.

Think there will be approx 200 shrimpers up there. crowd of around 5k I reckon. I do think Liverpool will be shocked that it won't be a walk in the park against us. Liverpool are most likely going to win but I believe our young lads will go down fighting with a 3-1 loss. Something for them to be really proud of.

Southend game ko at 7pm fulham at 8pm so at least the Ist half could be shown. Anyone know of a frienly Landlord in town ?

Could always try The Railway at Prittlewell Stn.

Landlord is a big Southend fan.
