Buzzing for Orient away. When others mentioned that it was in the pipeline, I hoped it was true.

A few beers after work and the chance to see Mooney offside for a team that isn't mine, sounds good to me.

You don't remember the vans/paint trophy area final then

Wow, can’t believe my team of plucky non-league plumbers, accountants and binmen are going to have a pre-season cup final against THE Southend United! This is the stuff that dreams are made of.

I tend not to bother with pre-season friendlies but I'd be well up for that.

Beer?

I bet you will be torn on who to cheer for? Your local non league minnows or your big club.

Hey, anything to help the small fish. Its a big pond out there.

Yeah, let's pick one and go for it. I've not been drinking around there much lately so wouldn't be sure which pub(s) to suggest.

If Bank, maybe the Jamaica wine house? Big courtyard outside to stand and drink in the sun?

Liverpool street, the railway? can't think of anywhere that stands out around there

Why not get on their Manor early and run amok all afternoon. I mean we may never get he chance again.:winking:

Absolutely.

To be honest now The Gun (RIP) is gone, there isn’t really anywhere particularly decent to drink around Liverpool St. IMHO. I’d actually recommend drinking in Leyton these days as the offerings are better - and cheaper - than most places in town. The King Harold is now the Leyton Star and vastly improved, The Northcote and The Birkbeck both have new landlords and are back to former glories, the town hall has been converted into The Leyton Technical and specialises in food & craft beer, and the Supporters’ Club is the best place to drink real ale in London.

Just send TrueBlue and the scrotes to the Coach and Horses which is still utterly dire and they will feel right at home.

Off topic but I thought you may appreciate this............if you haven't already seen it.

Now there are direct flights between Southend and Malta a summer training camp with a friendly or two with the natives would be great.
