I've known for ages I'm home this weekend but only clicked this evening that that means I can go to our first game of the season. That says a lot for where I currently am with my club. I'm usually very optimistic but just am not this season.

I think after this Saturday all of you who are not optimistic will suddenly have your andrenalin pumping,i predict 3-0 to SUFC and a great team performance.

Its got f##k all to do with ron martin or embargoes or whinging about where we may finish in the table, its about meeting with 'the gang' in the railway before the game, discussing the possible line up, players missing, youngsters looking to impress, bit of banter, chatting to fellow blues supporters you havent seen for months, the excitement of relocating to the north bank for the day, backing whoever is wearing the blue shirt to the hilt. Hopefully we win.......maybe we wont......will still be buzzing for the next game. The season is back woooooooooooo.
True story, I will wake up Saturday morning and say to the mrs happy new season day x x

that's it, pre season over n done with. 4 days to go, let the show begin. starting to get a bit enthusiastic, mustn't peak to soon. looking forward to walking into roots hall, first game of the season, all to play for, can't wait for the whistle
