Della-Verde was on the bench for a 1st team game recently though wasn't he? I'm sure he was......but my memory might be playing tricks again. :dizzy:

Yep, he was on the bench for the home fa cup replay v macclesfield, so surely he's available to play in the first team in the league, unless the rules are different in the fa cup or something?
 
I'm sure they changed the age ruling at the beginning of this, or last season, saying that in League football you have to be a minimum age of 16 to play. This doesn't however account for the FA cup which is why he was on the bench for that game.

From the sounds of it he sounds like a great prospect and one that we should be looking to keep hold of for a few years unless someone comes in with a ridiculous offer (which from the number of top scouts at our youth games sounds like it could happen).

Glad to hear he has signed on for the foreseeable future and hopefully can push on and get into the first team in the next couple of years.
 
Lyle Della Verde is currently dating X Factor Finalist rapping sensation Cher Lloyd. Seen out in Essex quite a few times holding hands and canoodling in public.

So already he has a pop star girlfirend, not sure this is a good thing or not.

:hilarious: Seeing as Lyle della Verde is only 15, how old's the X-factory sensation?

He's clearly more advanced than Beckham was at the same age.
 
I have no idea how old or who she is?

I was just informed by a relative of mine. Is she 16 im guessing?

Anyway apparently its written all over his Facebook page and he has tweeted about his new love several times too.
