Potential Departures in January

I would like all the over critical, fair-weather, not true & committed supporters, "I've played pro football for a number of years & am qualified to comment sarcastically" who were so vastly in evidence at the Keepmoat yesterday to end their association with my club in January.

As I said at the game, it was the first time in over 15 years I've ever been embarassed at a game to be a Southend fan yesterday. Some people need to take a long hard look at themselves I'm afraid!

what do you mean your club???

only each individual can really judge how much they support there club, and people show there love for there club in many different ways. I didnt know support is now measured by miles done

To be fair, two of those players did get us promoted to the Championship. I think your plan would leave us a bit short at the back. The last thing we need is to disorganise the defence any more.

Thats what im trying to say, start offloading them once we have made adaquat replacements.

I didn't mean "my club" by the fact I've got a given right or anything like that.

I meant "mine" as in every single game I've been too whether it was the initial glory days under Webby or Fry or dark days of the 4th division with idiots like Martin or Little at the helm, no matter how bad it got, the supporters were always there (on the whole) supporting their team to the hilt. This was something certainly not in evidence on Saturday, it was almost as if our fans had been abducted by aliens and brainwashed to have a Spurs like mentality!

In terms of the miles done comment, geographically my journey on Saturday was about as far as those who travelled from South-East Essex!

That's scary - I didn't realise Scotland was so close

I speak with ZERO points on my licence. Never had any and don't intend to!

By a little over, I mean a cruising speed of 75-80mph! :p

Me too.....:D

I did Dalkeith to Slough in about 5 and a half hours and I werent! :p Well it was in a Peugeot 206......so cant have been that much over

A lot of people don't!
I can get from my house to Essex with favourable road conditions only going a little over the 70mph speed limit in just a little over 6 hours!

I was approx 4 hours to get to Donny on Saturday.

Phew - that's a relief then . I was indoors ( near Chelmsford) at 7.15 after one petrol stop and sticking to the various limits on the A 1 most of the way .
