There is a 6pm train from Waterloo to Fratton that gets there in time for kick off so anyone that works in town has that option. Getting back to Essex would be a bit tight by public transport though.
£20 tickets on the gate and I don't think they will hit the 20,000 sell out on Tuesday.
They seem to be getting around the 15,000 mark for most games although this will be the first Tuesday league home game. Mind you last time we played there in 1996 the crowd was just under 6,000.

Can anyone confirm if we can buy on the day at the gate. I don't see why not, it will be a long way to go and told no tickets at the gate, will just mean I will have to sit with fellow seasiders, all be it Portsmouth ones.

You can buy on the day but not at the gate, you will have to go to their ticket office first which IIRC is the other side of the ground. I'll probably get mine after Saturday's game, a few of us going down and staying over.

Me and my son will be making the short trip to Fratton Park, will buy tickets on the day, rather than having them sent costing £5.20p. My last game was Oxford away, and if we play as well as that, Pompey will have their work cut out. Especially being thumped by the Wombles 4-0!!? We should beat York on Saturday and will go into this game full of confidence. Up The Blues.

I would have gone on a Saturday but mid week is impossible with work committments. Shame but at least I'll see plenty of Pompey fans on New Years Day. Now that should be banged out and a tremendous atmosphere.

Me too. It was the main fixture I was excited about this season. Was furious to see it's on a Tuesday.

i'll be there with 5 of my mates. booked a hotel down there so going to make a night of it (even if it is a tuesday night  )

Fair play to Pompey they seem to be a pro atmosphere club...

Just been confirmed on Twitter that our maximum allocation is 1,800, so for us exiles I wouldn't worry about not getting a ticket. It's cash only at the Frogmore Road Ticket Office with no increase in prices.

WWWWOOOOOO HHHHOOOOOO

Got my Pompy tickets, got my tickets, got my tickets, wooo hoooo.
(Geesss, as a chap in his late 40's, i should learn to grow up abit). but i can't wooo hooo, got my tickets,

The box office did say thou, that there where only 3 tickets left for the pompy game on sale.
