With all this enthusiasm for Saturday and the expected large attendance, i was wondering if anyone knew how many tickets we had sold for Pompey away. We bought our 6 first day they went on sale, so couldnt assess numbers then.

Normally i would expect us to sell out our allocation for this, especially if it was a Saturday. Do people think we could take 600-700 on Tuesday possibly

Won't know numbers till the night because I tried getting mine from the ticket office but it's collection only so no good for us exiles. So whatever numbers you hear, you can add another two definites.

Yeah I'll be there paying on the day, so thats another couple. Makes sense as I think the prices are same price on the gate.

Think we're just buying tickets on the day as it's much less hassle.

I'm not expecting a big turnout for this one from our fans to be honest. Portsmouth is actually quite a long way to go on a Tuesday night. I'm lucky in that I had some holiday left to take before the end of the year so booked the afternoon off and will be down there in plenty of time. But it will be a real rush / impossible for those finishing at 5:30 to get down in time for kickoff unless you work right next to Waterloo.

The club aren't sure on total allocation currently and are investigating (via twitter). I'll be down there bringing 3 non-Southend mates so that's another 4 to add to the on-the-day total.

Have bought mine via the club...tickets coming down on the Team coach, collect at ground..did this for both Oxford and Newport..no problems.

I reckon we will take around 400 fans.Quite a lot of away games coming up so doing them all will be expensive in the run up to xmas

Was hoping we would take about a thousand, but maybe I'm just over-optimistic... disappointing that this wasn't on a Saturday as otherwise I'm confident that we could have taken over 1000

I would have gone on a Saturday but mid week is impossible with work committments. Shame but at least I'll see plenty of Pompey fans on New Years Day. Now that should be banged out and a tremendous atmosphere.

There is a 6pm train from Waterloo to Fratton that gets there in time for kick off so anyone that works in town has that option. Getting back to Essex would be a bit tight by public transport though.
£20 tickets on the gate and I don't think they will hit the 20,000 sell out on Tuesday.

I'm going with my brother! I got the day off work but he don't get home until 5 so its going to be a mad rush in the car to make kick off!

Good luck with that one then. We have friends who live down there and from Billericay we can do it in 2 hours on a good run. On Tuesday I'm leaving home at 2pm to beat the traffic and get decent parking etc. I wish you luck but can't see you getting there in time for kick off, especially as you will hit the M25/QE2 bridge peak rush hour.
