Police Yesterday

Anybody feel the police were heavy handed yesterday I got thrown out of the coach and horses for nothing! and my mate bucket and spade got trodden on by a horse! :cry:

Have to agree with you mate even more so as i had my driving licence and Season card taken from me whilst lend over a wall, then told they will be reporting me to the club for something

i did get my cards back tho

i got a talking by the police for singing a song ("we hate orient" ) after the match, when walking toward the tube.
i was given 2 options: 1, shut up & go home or 2, shut up & go to a cell.

what did you do wrong b&s other than stick up for me ?

We had trouble with them as well, thrown against a shop window and top to shut up or i'll break ya leg. (Why the hell was the half the police welsh ?)

Yet they allowed the Borient fans to sing loudly about us being pikeys and the like....

The police were useless. They attempted to chuck me out of the coach and horses for "singing" - half the bloody pub was singing for god's sake - and were reluctant to even let me get my bloody coat which had my keys in :p
They never did make sure I left though, many thanks to Cricko for his advice on the matter ;)

Amazing what you miss out on going by coach isnt it....

My only view of the police was a lady feeding a police horse some polos outside the ground.

I feel I am missing out on all this "excitement" although with two kids in tow I guess thats probably for the best..

I was thinking the same, as i usually go by coach, but trained it yesterday.

They should've made this pub "away fans only" as everyone knew how many Southend were bringing.
Or "home fans only for those who wanted a quiet drink!
What did the pub owners expect??
No-one on the door that i saw,shouldn't think the police enjoyed doing their job for them.Didn't notice anyone from the pub asking people to keep the noise down.
BTW some idiot throwing ice around,not clever.
If this is an Orient boozer then don't admit away fans in simple as.We'll go elsewhere.
Obvious anyway that police "tactics" are to eject and seperate noisy drinkers then search them once outside but like i say no arrangements taken to try and prevent any trouble.
They want our money though eh??

A lad I went along with was simply walking and he was pushed by a policeman in the other direction, so he said "I've gotta go this way, mate", only for the Welsh ******* to grab him, push him against a wall and go "****ing go, or you'll end up in a cell". So he walked. And then turned around. And waved at the policeman as he went. :)

...Yeah, why were they all Welsh?

Went by train but didn't see much hassle around, must have got lucky I suppose. I enjoyed singing we hate orient in the streets though. I was waiting for some gay orient fan to come and stab me up with a broken bottle, really hate that place.

As I came out of the station, I started getting walked down the road by the police in another group of Southend fans. After politely mentioning several times that I wasn't actually with them and needed to go a different way, they let me off on my way with a completely unnecessary shove.

Seems like a bit of an over-reaction in general as I've never known us to have that much troble with them but they obviously decided to take a zero-tolerance approach.

Ah we were directed by a mate on the way there, the problem was on the way back when he wasn't around :p

was pretty funny when about 12 policemen came in the pub walked to the end stood there for a few minutes and then walked about. personally didn't think there was any need for it, no trouble was being caused.
