I needed a rebuy after the very first hand when my trip Queens got out Kickered!!

No re-buy for me and went into the break with 3000! Down to 2400 and was in SB with 78cc and the flop came 6 T A all clubs so pushed and got a call by someone fishing with the Kc! As i type i just pushed with QQ on the BB and after a raise and re-raise someone couldn't lay AK down and im gone ....
 
Un-lucky mate - AK always comes in for other people - but when it always shafts me!

I keep getting involved in stupid pots rather then bide my time.

Don't feel like its gonna be a winning night - I'm gonna do something stupid very soon I feel!

Blinds were at 150/300 and he had min-raised to 600 in 3rd position. Short stack went all in for 1600 total and it came round to me. Calling was an option, but had been pretty card dead and had dun well to get upto 6/7K and i didn't think this player ( who i have played with before ) would commit 95% of his stack on AK after my big all in knowing he'd be 50/50 at best!

Ho hum.

Thats the problem with a big stack. You get involved when you dont need to. Just play position, make a few raises from the mid to late position and hope they go uncontested. GL ... off to bed!

Gone into the last break in 1st place with 84k chips - would have had over 100k but some idiot went all in with 62 and rivered two pair beating my QQ with K Kicker !!

Should end up in the money at least - just got to knock a couple more out!
 
Nice one mate. Didn't realise that to win it all, you'd be playing till 2am. Dont think i'll bother playing that one too much as i need my beauty sleep now and again! :D
 
Yeah, good work with that. It's shocking how long you have to spend to get cash in these things. All I can suggest is get a crate in (obviously pacing yourself) and try not to think about time!
